Prof. Claus Kreß LL.M. (Cam¬bridge) is a full professor of criminal and international law. Since 2004 he has held the Chair for German and International Criminal Law and Director of the Institute for Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure Law at the University of Cologne, and since 2012 he has also been Director of the newly founded Institute for International Peace and Security Law.
Dr. Thilo Zimmermann is SDG-Manager and responsible for projects to support the achievement of the UN Sustainable Development Goals. He studied economics at the University of Cologne and holds a PhD in International Political Economy from the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna in Pisa, Italy. He went to Harvard University and Ecole Normale Superieure in Paris for research stays. Before, he worked at the German Embassy in Rome, Italy
Dr. Anan Alsheikh Haidar is research fellow at the Institute for International Peace and Security Law, her research focuses on the regionalisation of international criminal law and human rights broadly and more specifically focused on the Middle East region and Arab Spring. Before, she had been lecturer at the School of Law at University of Damascus (2010-2014) and holds a master of laws (MLL) and a PhD from the University of Reading, UK.
Prof. Neila Chaabane is a Professor of public law at UCAR and had been the Tunisian Secretary of State for Women’s, Children’s and Family Affairs (2014-2015). She was a member of the National Commission for the Investigation of Corruption and Embezzlement (2011-2012). She is furthermore an alternate member for Tunisia at the European Commission for Democracy through Law, the Venice Commission.
Prof. Salwa Hamrouni is a specialist in international law and constitutional law. She is General Secretary of the Tunisian Association of Constitutional Law, Executive Secretary of the International Academy of Constitutional Law, member of the Scientific Council of the Faculty of Legal Sciences and member of the Research Ethics Committee of the Pasteur Institute of Tunis.
Dr.Al-Bayati is a distinguished international expert in the Middle East on international law and Human rights, especially in the elections field. He has supported many electoral management bodies worldwide, including Tunisia, Afghanistan, Iraq, Somalia, and Pakistan. He is voluntarily supporting the project.
Dr. Islam Majeed Hoshy is an Iraqi reasearcher specilaized in priviate law and e-commerce. She is a member of the Iraqi Bar association and Iraqi human rights association. She has teaching experience on commercial law and companies law in Iraqi universities, such as Baghdad College for economic studies, where she was working as the legal advisor as well, and Al-Turath college and the Arab open university in Denmark.
